Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel – Vancouver Airport Shuttle Service

Wheelchair Accessible Taxi Service

The Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel is providing complimentary wheelchair accessible taxis for meeting attendees to and from the airport. Please see the Wheelchair Accessible Taxis section below for details.

Accessible Transportation Info: For any NASCIC Annual Meeting guests that are unable to use the hotel’s shuttle bus, the Sheraton Vancouver Airport hotel will be covering the cost for alternate taxi transportation to/from the airport and hotel. All guests utilizing taxi transportation must follow the instructions below:

Airport to Hotel:

Upon arrival at the airport, please proceed to the taxi stand located at the Domestic and US/International Arrivals level. Please speak with the YVR staff member and request a “Richmond Taxi accessible vehicle”. The taxi will be compensated at the hotel in the form of a voucher. The NASCIC Annual Meeting hotel guest will NOT be required to pre-pay the taxi, please advise the driver that your trip payment will be handled by the hotel.

Please note that there is a limited number of accessible taxis and there might be a wait based on volume.

Hotel to Airport:

Please advise the front desk when you require an accessible taxi to the airport. Allow for extra time, as there is a limited number of accessible taxis and there may be multiple hotel guests trying to go to the airport simultaneously. The hotel will call the taxi company and have a voucher payment for the taxi driver. The taxi will take you to your designated departure gate.
